Password protecting a site

Sandvox does not offer the ability to password protect a site. This is because such protection must be provided by the site's host. Sandvox has no control over an individual host's settings and so cannot set a password for the site.

However, your host may offer the ability to password protect the entire site or a portion of it. If so, this can usually be carried out using their web control panel (or similar feature). For full details, please contact your host.
