Pagelet

We are all familar with web pages, but Sandvox introduces the concept of pagelets. A pagelet is in effect, a miniature webpage that you place alongside a page's main content to display supplemental information.

Pagelets are generally 200 pixels wide and can be placed in the Sidebar or within a page as a callout. Note that sometimes, it may not be possible to add a pagelet to a page, as the page may not have a Sidebar, or accept callouts

Some pagelets are just miniature versions of their corresponding page type (e.g Text and Photo pagelets). Other pagelets (e.g. List of Links and RSS feeds) are specialized displays of information that only appear in pagelet form.
