Giving a pagelet or page a caption
You can give almost any kind of pagelet a caption. This is a short piece of text above or below the main content of the pagelet.
To add a caption to a pagelet:
- Select the page containing the pagelet in the Site Outline.
- Make sure Editing Markers (
) are visible by clicking the "Show Markers" item in the toolbar if necessary. - Click the Editing Marker above or below the pagelet's main content.
- Enter your caption.
- Click outside of the pagelet to end editing.
Some page types (e.g. Photo or Video) also allow you to add a caption.
To add a caption to a suitable page:
- Select the page in the Site Outline.
- Make sure Editing Markers () are visible by clicking the "Show Markers" item in the toolbar if necessary.
- Click the Editing Marker to begin editing the caption.
- Enter your text.
- Click outside of the text to end editing.
