Embedded Image
An embedded image is a small image that is part of a section of text and is configurable in behavior.
Embedded images can be placed within Text pages and pagelets, and Collection pages. They cannot be placed in any other locations such as the Footer or a pagelet's caption.
Sandvox supports many different image formats for embedded images. For more information, please see the "Images" article.
Ways to add an embedded image:
- Copy an image to the clipboard and paste it into the text using the Edit menu.
- Drag an image from the Media Browser to the appropriate place in the text.
- Drag an image from another application such as the Finder or iPhoto.
The maximum width of an embedded image is 320 pixels. If you attempt to insert a larger image Sandvox will automatically resize it to be the correct width. Resizing follows the rules as described in the "Images" article.
You can also use an embedded image as a link; see the "Using an Embedded Image as a Link" article for more information.
